National Memorial Arboretum Visit

The LMS-Patriot Company, the charitable new build steam locomotive project which is building the Royal British Legion Endorsed National Memorial Engine, 'The Unknown Warrior', will be displaying the partially completed engine at the National Memorial Arboretum between 12-3pm on 21st November 2013.

5551 Moved into Main Works at Tyseley

5551 'The Unknown Warrior' was moved into the main Works area at Tyseley Loco Works. Preparatory work for this started at the end of November 2024 with repositioning completed on December 10th. Funding has been authorised for the first of the reassembly tasks - the refitting of the horn guides to the frames. The repositioning of 5551 means that this work will now be able to start.
