Soar Valley Model Railway Exhibition, Loughborough

The LMS Patriot New Build Project will have its sales stall open throughout this exhibition.

The show is organised by the Soar Valley MRC and will be held at the Loughborough Grammer School, Burton Walks, off Leicester  Road, Loughborough, LE11 2AQ.

Adults £12, Children £5, Family 2 adults and up to three children £25.

Please note show shuts at 17.00 on Saturday 22nd August.

Latest Appeal - Sponsor a Nut or a Rivet

As the frames of 'The Unknown Warrior' are rapidly coming together at Tyseley Loco Works we now need to purchase new rivets and nuts.

Around 140 Philidas nuts are needed. These are a special type of self-locking nut that use mechanical deformation in their collar to grip the bolt threads. In addition to these, we need around 1000 rivets.
