2018 MEMBERS' DAY REPORT
On 23rd June we held our 8th annual Members Day at the Llangollen Railway. Once again we had a fantastic turn out with over 200 members and guests attending. We were lucky enough to be graced with stunning weather that has seen Wales have the hottest June since records began, this certainly enhances any trip down the picturesque Dee Valley. As usual members had the chance to see the build progress of The Unknown Warrior, get up close and personal with the engineering team, have a talk in Llangollens' Robinson's Suite with directors of the Project where they learn about other aspects of running the Project, and of course visit our sales stand where Pete Sikes was on hand to sign copies of his fabulous new book, The Patriots – A Pictorial Record Volume 1. https://lms-patriot.org.uk/patriots-pictorial-record-volume-one-45500-45525
Our team put in many hours of hard work before, during and after the day to make it a success and we hope all those who attended had a good day out. Indeed the feedback over the years thus far has been very positive and helped make the day as smooth running as possible. Thanks to those who took the time to contact us with their views, we always welcome them. We look forward to seeing you at future events.
Kind regards from all of us here at The LMS-Patriot Project.
